Job summary

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in HR, business, accounting, or related field, with CPP or FPC preferred, strong math and analytical skills, and experience with multi-state payroll and Paycor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting or related field.
  • CPP or FPC preferred.
  • Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills.
  • Experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxes and Paycor software.

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process employee timecards accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile payroll submissions and ensure payroll data integrity.
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies or concerns.
  • Calculate wages, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and payroll deductions.
  • Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare recurring payroll reports and assist with payroll analysis.
  • Research and resolve state and local payroll tax issues.
  • Assist with setting up unemployment and withholding accounts for new state registrations.
