Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking an entry level Payroll Specialist to learn and perform payroll processing for multiple locations with 400+ employees weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cycles. You will enter journal entries, reconcile accounts, maintain payroll records, and ensure tax withholdings and deductions are accurate.

ADP WorkforceNow experience and strong Excel skills are preferred; you will collaborate with the Payroll Supervisor and Corporate Treasury

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting/Business preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of payroll processing experience preferred.
• Strong background in payroll systems, payroll report writing and Microsoft Excel.
• ADP WorkforceNow experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for domestic, multi-location operations on weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cycles.
• Enter journal entries and prepare account reconciliations; maintain payroll records.
• Ensure taxes, Social Security, deductions and benefits are properly withheld.
• Prepare payroll reports and respond to inquiries from employees and regulators.
