Job summary

CFS is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support a multi-entity, weekly payroll environment in Keenesburg, CO, working 4 days in office with strong flexibility. You will partner closely with a Payroll Manager and a collaborative internal team to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.

The role covers timecard review across systems, certified payroll reporting, and coordination with HR on hires, terminations, and tax elections.Applicants should have 3+ years of payroll experience in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience in construction, union payroll, or certified payroll environments preferred.
• Familiarity with certified payroll reporting and LCPtracker a plus.
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum or similar payroll systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and basic payroll tax principles.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for multiple entities with a high level of accuracy.
• Collect, review, and verify timecards across multiple systems for completeness and FLSA compliance.
• Code and report hours for certified payroll and accounting purposes.
• Calculate wages, including union rates, certified payroll, bonuses, and benefits.
• Review attendance, leave, and pay adjustments; reconcile discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues in partnership with the Payroll Manager.
• Partner with HR on new hires, terminations, direct deposit updates, and tax elections.
• Support payroll reporting and ensure accuracy across systems.
