You will enter union, hourly, and salaried timesheets, adjustments, and corrections into the payroll system to ensure accurate payroll runs. The role requires strong numerical skills and attention to detail to maintain records, verify pay rates, respond to inquiries, and ensure compliance with SOX and company policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience with expert knowledge of payroll, deductions, and taxes.
• Experience with payroll systems, timesheets, and compliance with SOX and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records on all employee payroll transactions. Verifies pay rates and deductions to ensure compliance with company policy, union contracts, SOX controls, and employee designations.
• Analyzes, audits, validates, and prepares timesheet data for the payroll system in accordance with the payroll schedule.
• Responds to payroll inquiries and requests within established service‑level agreements and educates employees as needed to resolve pay or time discrepancies.
