Qual IT Resources is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to support accurate, compliant payroll processing for the United States and Canada, with limited Canada/Mexico involvement. The role emphasizes Workday Payroll, Time & Attendance, and time-off plan administration, reporting to the HR Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of U.S. multi-state payroll experience, strong Workday skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of U.S. multi-state payroll experience.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Time & Attendance.
• Proficient with Excel and payroll/timekeeping systems.
• Working knowledge of U.S. state paid time off laws and wage/hour requirements.
• Experience with Workday HCM & Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for U.S. employees and assist Canada; Mexico support as needed.
• Ensure time and attendance data from Workday is reflected in payroll.
• Review payroll inputs: hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, one-time payments.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide Workday Time, Attendance, and Scheduling training to managers and employees.
