Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of FLSA, state taxes, garnishments.
• Experience with payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now, Lyric).
• Experience supporting multi-state payroll preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Discretion with confidential information; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly/semimonthly payroll for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees.
• Maintain and audit employee payroll records for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Process new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and garnishments.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams as needed.
• Assist with year-end activities, including W-2 processing.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-orientedPayroll Specialist to join our payroll team. This role is responsible for accurately processing payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding pay-related questions.

Responsibilities:

• Process biweekly/semimonthly payroll for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees
• Maintain and audit employee payroll records for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies
• Process new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and garnishments

Additional Information:

This is a fully on-site role, M-F 8am-5pm

The pay range is $27 -$35 per hour
