Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Associate II to manage payroll across multiple subsidiaries. You will process weekly, bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls and update data such as time, commissions and bonuses. The role supports audits, documentation, and process improvements under the Payroll Manager.

Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, wage regulations, and Dayforce is required. You will collaborate with payroll staff and maintain SOPs while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of relevant payroll experience required.
  • High School diploma/GED required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • 5+ years full service multi-state payroll experience; Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred.
  • Experience in a shared service center environment preferred.
  • Garnishment rules and multi-state tax withholding knowledge required.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, and off-cycle payrolls for multiple subsidiaries.
  • Update payroll data including time, commissions, bonuses, and manual checks.
  • Record adjustments to pay related to payroll elections, benefits, or retroactive increases.
  • Manage daily workload to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor payroll inquiries from employees, managers, and local contacts to meet SLAs.
