Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Payroll Practitioner II to manage a wide range of payroll tasks and maintain accurate employee records in a high-volume environment. You will be the main point of contact for timecard completion, review, and approval processes across multiple states and teams.

In this role you will audit new hires, maintain records, process biweekly payroll, and assist with timecard reviews and training.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Minimum 1 year payroll or accounting experience, preferred.
• FPC designation preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Workday preferred.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly audits to ensure accurate setup of all new hires.
• Maintain employee payroll records; ensure changes are entered correctly and timely.
• Utilize reports to follow up with employees and managers for accurate timecards.
• Assist employees and managers in reviewing, editing, and approving timecards; provide training as needed.
• Perform routine data entry.
• Complete all employment verifications and wage requests.
• Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Assist with biweekly payroll activities in a high-volume, multistate process.
• Maintain confidentiality.
