Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related payroll experience is required.
• Knowledge of HRIS or payroll software and Workday experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly, interact professionally with staff and stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process and review payroll transactions to ensure accurate payments and compliance with schedules.
• Review timekeeping records, pay rates, deductions, garnishments, and adjustments.
• Prepare reports and provide data for audits and financial reporting.
• Respond to employee/payroll inquiries and coordinate with HR on hires, terminations, and status changes.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal payroll controls.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
