Job summary

BBSI is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage high-volume payrolls for multiple client companies, including on-site training and onboarding. You will work with Salesforce, timekeeping and HRIS systems to optimize client payroll processes.

The role requires at least five years in payroll, strong client service and communication skills, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced, professional services firm in Delaware.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-client, fast-paced environment.
• Strong client service orientation and superb customer service skills.
• Experience in process improvement and streamlining.
• Experience as a bookkeeper or accountant desired.
• Self-driven to succeed and drive success for clients.
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws and taxability of wages.
• Exposure to workers' compensation claims management helpful.
• Effective communicator with individuals at all levels within an organization.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional time management and ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision.
• MS Office experience including Outlook, Excel, and Word; CRM, Citrix, HRP software a plus.
• Approximately 10% travel within 50 miles for client visits and training.

Responsibilities

• Run high-volume on- and off-cycle payrolls for 800+ employees across multiple client companies.
• Onboard new clients in BBSI payroll, CRM, timekeeping and HRIS; identify better system options.
• Provide on-site payroll and payroll software training to clients.
• Becoming SME on client data including turnover, headcount, time & attendance, job costing and reporting.
