Job summary

BBSI is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process accurate and timely payrolls for 80-100 clients across varied cycles. You will explore client systems, identify improvements and train users to maximize payroll accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes client service, system onboarding, and collaboration with the Payroll Service Manager and BU teams. Local travel up to 50 miles is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a fast-paced multi-client environment.
• Experience with onboarding, payroll processing and client trainings.
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws and taxability of wages.

Responsibilities

• Run high volume on- and off-cycle payrolls for 700+ employees across multiple clients.
• Onboard new clients and optimize payroll, timekeeping and HRIS systems.
• Train clients on payroll processes and feature functionalities.
• Analyze client data including turnover, headcount, job costing and reporting requirements.
