Job summary

Kruger Products | Produits Kruger is seeking a Payroll Specialist to deliver accurate, compliant payroll services while partnering with Human Resources and Operations. You will manage weekly hourly and bi-weekly payroll, ensure data integrity, and support month-end close and reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll administration experience.
• Payroll certification (CPP, PCP, or equivalent) is an asset.
• Manufacturing or multi-shift environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly hourly and bi-weekly salaried payroll accurately and on time.
• Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations.
• Process ROEs and other payroll-related documentation.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and support month-end close activities.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate variances.
• Support payroll reporting, remittances, audits, and year-end reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, reporting capabilities, and system efficiencies.
• Partner with HR for new hires, promotions, leaves, benefits, terminations, and offboarding duties.
