Job summary

Kruger Products Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Memphis to deliver accurate and timely payroll services. You will partner with HR and operations to ensure payroll excellence, maintain data integrity, and support financial reporting.

The role covers payroll processing, compliance, and process improvements across weekly hourly and bi-weekly salaried cycles, with exposure to payroll systems and ERP tools in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of payroll administration experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or multi-shift environment preferred.
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, HR or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Process weekly hourly and bi-weekly salaried payroll accurately and on time.
Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations.
Process Records of Employment (ROEs) and other payroll-related documentation.
Partner with HR to process employee transactions (new hires, promotions, leaves, changes).
Serve as a resource for employee payroll questions and issue resolution.
Prepare payroll-related journal entries and support month-end close activities.
Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate variances.
Support payroll reporting, remittances, audits, and year-end reporting.
Maintain internal controls and data accuracy.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and system efficiencies.
