Qualifications

• Associate degree with 2–3 years payroll experience, or 5+ years payroll experience without a degree.
• Knowledge of garnishments preferred.
• Ability to complete payroll calculations accurately.
• Ability to efficiently analyze results and identify errors.
• Proficiency with Advanced Excel, Word, and OneNote.
• UKG Dimensions, Oracle Fusion and Service Now experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn federal and state payroll laws.
• Solid analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and run payroll processes and reports for weekly, biweekly, and special payroll cycles.
• Review time and attendance systems and correct out-of-balance situations.
• Calculate military and jury duty pay.
• Process garnishments and levies.
• Post pay, tax status, and miscellaneous changes.
• Enter and set up miscellaneous deductions and reimbursements.
• Assist payroll team members during vacations and work overloads.
• Test and implement enhancements to the HR/Payroll HCM system.
• Handle special projects and research as assigned.
• Document, cross-train, and improve payroll processes.
• Interact frequently with internal and external customers.
