Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Colorado to support US multi-state and international payroll processing. You will review transactions such as hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, commissions, and equity actions, ensuring accurate payrolls and reconciliations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Colorado-based onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Two years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support bi-weekly, monthly and off-cycle payroll processing for U.S. multi-state employees and international payroll populations.
• Review payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, commissions, equity transactions, and employee deductions.
• Validate payroll inputs and outputs to ensure payroll accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and resolution of payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations.
