Job summary

ATG Entertainment USA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our North American team in San Antonio. You will manage weekly payroll for salaried, hourly, and union staff, with a focus on California compliance and multi-state operations.

The role requires hands-on payroll experience, proficiency with UKG or similar HCM systems, and strong Excel skills. You will work with the Payroll Director and support W-2s/1095-Cs, while ensuring accurate, timely processing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience required.
• Proficiency in UKG or similar HCM systems preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience preparing union benefit reports and coordinating payments preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly full-cycle payroll for salaried, hourly, and union staff.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and processing issues.
• Process off-cycle payroll, including manual checks for terminations, bonuses, retro pay.
• Review timecard data for compliance with time and attendance rules.
• Maintain electronic payroll files and respond to employee inquiries.
• Process employee changes such as deductions and garnishments.
• Assist with W-2s and 1095-Cs as needed.
• Cross-train payroll staff on critical functions.
