Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of payroll processing experience.
• Proven experience with ADP payroll systems.
• Solid knowledge of payroll administration principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of federal and state payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws.
• Experience with garnishment processing and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily payroll operations and related administrative functions.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll workflow to ensure timely processing.
• Reconcile payroll data and validate reports for accuracy.
• Post payroll entries to general ledger and reconcile with cash accounts.
• Oversee 401k submission funding and IRS compliance.
• Process payroll adjustments, manual checks, and related entries.
• Handle benefit enrollments and related deductions.
• Manage wage garnishments in compliance with laws.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports to vendors and stakeholders.
• Support supervisors and guide use of time and attendance systems.
• Review time records for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Review and coordinate payment of monthly benefit invoices.
• Enter new hires into UKG and ADP systems; maintain employee records.
