Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support all facets of payroll processing, maintain data accuracy, and resolve employee payroll issues. The role requires attention to detail and proficiency with Workday and ADP.

The position involves audits, year-end tasks, and collaboration with managers to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Office environment with standard hours and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years payroll experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma/GED required; Accounting/related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee payroll data for hourly and salary staff.
• Ensure accuracy of payroll data for weekly/biweekly processing.
• Prepare and load supplemental pay data for payroll cycles.
• Audit payroll batch inputs for accuracy prior to processing.
• Reconcile general ledger related to payroll transactions.
• Audit timekeeping for exceptions and coordinate corrections.
