Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in accounting or business (or related experience).
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to execute and follow through to completion with thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Managing and processing payroll weekly for 700+ employees.
• Communicating with management and employees regarding pay and benefits.
• Preparing and analyzing reports in UKG payroll software, as well as Excel.
• Processing deductions such as levies and garnishments.
• Maintaining confidentiality of employee information.
• Posting journal entries.
• Reconciling general and subledger accounts.
• Maintaining accounting controls and complying with policies, procedures, and SOX.
• Supporting accounting functions as needed.
• Handling special projects and additional duties as assigned.
