Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for multiple locations and employee pay structures including hourly, salaried, technician, and commission-based compensation.

The ideal candidate will have strong payroll and accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and excellent attention to detail to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Knowledge of CDK or Paylocity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience required.
• Commission-based payroll experience preferred; technician flat-rate payroll is a plus.
• Experience with CDK, Paylocity, or DMS is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Process and calculate hourly, salaried, technician, and commission-based payroll.
• Calculate commissions, bonuses, guarantees, and technician compensation.
• Review hours, deductions, attendance, and payroll adjustments for accuracy.
• Maintain and update Excel payroll workbooks.
• Reconcile payroll schedules and accounts.
• Post payroll, accruals, and related transactions to the General Ledger.
• Calculate technician and hourly payroll accruals.
• Respond to employee and management payroll questions.
• Assist with new-hire onboarding and related HR functions.
• Maintain confidential payroll and employee information.
