Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Vancouver, WA to manage end-to-end payroll for a multi-state workforce. This role supports the accounting and finance team and focuses on accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.

You will handle bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls, maintain complete payroll records, and collaborate with HR to resolve discrepancies while ensuring timely W-2s and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience with payroll reconciliations and GL payroll accounting.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll accurately and timely for multi-state employees
• Maintain payroll records, employee earnings, deductions, garnishments, and tax information
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Reconcile payroll reports, payroll liabilities, benefits deductions, and general ledger payroll accounts
• Partner with Human Resources and Accounting to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
• Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation and payroll audits
• Support payroll reporting, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
