About The Role

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Alight Leave Solutions paid leave disability payroll. This role ensures payroll is processed on schedule, reconciled for accuracy, and supports payroll-related inquiries. You will be a critical part of the team providing exceptional customer service and maintaining smooth payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process designated client payroll accurately and on time
• Reconcile payroll against multiple reports for accuracy
• Monitor payroll bank accounts for funding and processing
• Complete quarterly reconciliation and repayment documentation
• Generate monthly reports for internal and client use
• Complete amendment filings and support off-cycle payments
• Serve as backup to team members as needed
• Respond to payroll questions and resolve issues promptly
• Support W-2 process as directed
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of payroll administration experience
• Working knowledge of Short & Long-Term Disability pay
• Demonstrated accuracy in reconciliations and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Well organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
