SEIU 775 is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate processing and recording of payroll across applicable states, with responsibility for timely data entry, HRIS administration, and compliance with federal and state requirements.
The role requires collaboration with Accounting and various departments, handling benefits management, and producing ad hoc reports while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

About This Role
The payroll specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate processing and recording of the company’s payroll. This position will provide timely and accurate financial information, participate in daily data entry Payroll processing, and administering the applicable functions of the HRIS while complying with applicable federal, state, and organizational requirements.

Compensation:
Providing current or previous salary information is optional and will not be factored into hiring decisions. Prospective Employees covered by the CBA can request a copy of the wage scale, the CBA, and any current relevant MOUs upon application to the position.
This position is full-time, exempt. This position is not included in the Bargaining Unit. Pay ranges from $84,376 – $103,084 per year. Benefits include vacation, holiday, and sick leave benefits, fully employer paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance, defined benefit pension plan, and optional 401(k), WFH credit, pet insurance, and more.

Bachelors or better in Accounting.
Familiarity with federal and state wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements.
4-6 years: Four (4) to six (6) years’ experience processing multi-state payroll & union payroll.
