Job summary

SDL is partnered with a construction firm in need of a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist. This person will manage weekly payroll for approximately 500 employees. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with construction and/or union payroll and a strong understanding of related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for ~500 employees
• Manage construction and/or union payroll, including wage rates, deductions, and benefits
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
• Maintain payroll records and support audits and reporting as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience
• Required experience with construction and/or union payroll
• Viewpoint Vista experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet weekly deadlines
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements
