Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Memphis, TN is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. You will process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll, review timekeeping records, and manage changes, deductions, bonuses, and overtime calculations.

You’ll administer garnishments and wage assignments, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, reconcile discrepancies, and generate payroll reports.

Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do:

• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll accurately and efficiently
• Review and audit timekeeping records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Manage employee payroll changes, deductions, bonuses, and overtime calculations

What We’re Looking For:

• Payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements
• Experience with HRIS and Time & Attendance systems

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; and other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
