Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. in Lewisville, TX is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our established payroll team. You will support high-volume weekly payroll for 500+ employees and ensure timely, accurate processing.

The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, weekly payroll expertise, and strong attention to detail. Onsite schedule Monday–Friday, with potential overtime to meet payroll deadlines.

Qualifications

• Weekly payroll experience required.
• Comfortable working in a payroll environment with manual processes, timecard review and data uploads.
• Experience with payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits and 401(k) administration preferred.

Job description

We are partnering with a growing organization in Lewisville seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join an established payroll team. This position is open due to growth and will support high-volume weekly payroll for 500+ employees.

Compensation: $65K–$75K + overtime
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite

What You’ll Do

• Process weekly payroll for 500+ employees
• Collect, review and validate employee timekeeping data
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Maintain payroll information for new hires, terminations, promotions and employee changes
• Process and maintain garnishments and child support orders
• Support payroll tax compliance and quarterly reporting
• Assist with benefits and 401(k) related payroll administration
• Maintain PTO and other payroll-related employee records
• Process and verify direct deposits
• Support employment verificationsMaintain accurate payroll documentation and ensure compliance with applicable tax and deduction requirements
• Assist with benefits open enrollment as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience
• Must have experience processing payroll for at least 500 employees
• Experience with weekly payroll required
• Comfortable working in a payroll environment that includes manual processes, timecard review and data uploads
• Experience with payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits and 401(k) administration strongly preferred
• Sage experience is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Important Schedule Requirement

Because payroll is processed weekly and must be completed on schedule, candidates must be comfortable occasionally working beyond normal business hours, including some holidays and rare weekend work when necessary to meet payroll deadlines. This is an hourly position and overtime is paid at time-and-a-half.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
