Job summary

Integrated Pain Associates is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Killeen, TX, responsible for verifying transactions, accurate payroll processing, and managing payroll deductions. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with familiarity with payroll software and federal payroll laws.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and at least three years of relevant experience. This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Verify transactions and identify accounting discrepancies.
  • Oversee payroll processing and manage payroll deductions.
  • Prepare month-end accrual for payroll, accrued PTO.
  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts monthly.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable duties.
  • Gather necessary information for audits.

Skills

Familiarity with software (QB’s, Paycor, ECW, Sage Intacct, Employee Navigator)
Knowledge of federal and state payroll law
Organizational skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

Job Summary

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for verifying transactions and identifying accounting discrepancies, as well as accurate and timely payroll processing and overseeing all aspects of a company’s payroll.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • TWC Reports (Paycor)
  • W2s/1099s (Paycor)
  • Monitor and manage processes for payroll deductions.
  • Process bi-weekly hourly payroll and semi-monthly salary payroll.
  • Prepare month-end accrual for payroll, accrued PTO.
  • Reconcile all payroll related balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile payroll deductions against insurance billings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • When not processing payroll-
    • Perform general accounting and other related duties, such as balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Assist with Accounts Payable duties, such as entering invoices and recording purchasing card activities.
    • Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform audit.
    • Assist with managing patient refund process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We need you to have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years accounting and or Payroll experience.
Working conditions:
  • Monday – Friday
  • Full-time On-site position within an office setting.
Physical requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
