Heidelberg Materials in Bothell, WA is seeking a payroll timekeeping specialist to manage daily time records, run discrepancy reports, and ensure accurate Kronos data for payroll processing.
You will apply union contract provisions, answer questions from employees and managers, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve timekeeping issues in a fast-paced office.
Line of Business: Other Pay Range: $61,900.00 – $76,346.66
Manage daily employee time records by reviewing, entering, and correcting hours to ensure accuracy and completeness. Run reports to identify missing, incorrect, or incomplete hours and resolve discrepancies with supervisors and managers. Maintain accurate records in Kronos and review employee time-related changes before information is submitted for final payroll processing. Review and apply applicable union contract provisions when validating employee hours and related requirements. Prepare accurate, approved information for the payroll team while responding to employee and management questions related to hours and time records.
Hands-on experience managing or reviewing employee timekeeping, attendance records, or payroll-related time data. Experience working in a union environment and reading or applying union contracts or collective bargaining agreements is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to review high volumes of timekeeping information and identify errors or inconsistencies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner with supervisors and managers to resolve timekeeping questions and discrepancies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Kronos or another timekeeping system is preferred.
This role is based in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interaction across departments. This is a full-time, 100% in-person position located in Bothell, Washington.
