Heidelberg Materials US Cement LLC is hiring a supervisor to lead daily yard and labor operations, ensuring safe, efficient movement of materials. You will coordinate employees, equipment, and priorities to meet production and customer needs while promoting compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
This role involves coaching team members, clear communication, and adapting to changing operational needs.
Line of Business: Cement & White Pay Range: $68,550.00 – $91,409.99
Lead daily yard and labor operations to support safe, efficient, and reliable material movement.
Coordinate employees, equipment, and work priorities to meet production and customer needs.
Promote compliance with safety procedures, environmental requirements, and company standards.
Coach team members, communicate expectations, and address performance and operational concerns.
Monitor yard conditions, inventory flow, and equipment needs to identify and implement improvements.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a safe, respectful, and accountable workplace.
Previous Supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of yard, shipping, material-handling, labor, or industrial operations.
Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to prioritize work, respond to changing operational needs, and make sound decisions.
Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and dependable customer service.
This role is primarily performed in an outdoor industrial environment with exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
Regular interaction with employees, drivers, contractors, mobile equipment, and plant operations is required.
The role requires the ability to safely move throughout the yard, access work areas, and wear required personal protective equipment. Work schedules may vary based on operational needs and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
