Job summary

Samsung Electronics America seeks a Payroll Service Manager to lead a 4-6 person payroll team handling NA payroll with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. You will drive standard processes, collaborate with HR, HRIS and Benefits, and ensure timely payroll execution across North America.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, strong customer service orientation, and escalation management to maintain high service levels and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a complex environment, preferably a US & CAN payroll or shared service function.
• 4+ years in a customer service related field with strong customer relationship skills.
• Experience with top-tier payroll and HRIS systems (UltiPro, Kronos, Workday or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve requests using predefined and creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor a team of payroll professionals to achieve consistent results in a complex environment.
• Own day-to-day management of payroll service team activities including cycle processing, controls, audits, SLAs, and data validation across source systems.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within SLAs and provide research, resolution, and product support.
• Deliver measurable results in team and individual performance and manage priorities effectively.
• Act as escalation point for payroll issues and coordinate with Payroll Leadership.
