Job summary

Ensign Services, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Resource/Specialist to support a portfolio of field operations across California and additional western states. The role represents the payroll service center and ensures accurate processing, timely communication and adherence to policy.

The position emphasizes coordination with HR and Benefits, handling timecards, tax elections and pay adjustments. A stable, compliant payroll environment and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in supporting payroll and/or payroll processing.
• Experience with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the payroll service center by providing support, guidance and effective communication to field operations HR and Payroll Representatives.
• Oversee payroll functions for a portfolio of assigned affiliated companies across multiple states.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders across operations, HR, Benefits, Payroll and IT.
• Coordinate and administer pay-period actions, audits and controls for centralized payroll close.
