The role focuses on weekly multi-state payroll processing, ensuring accurate wages, deductions, and benefits in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of California payroll regulations and proficiency in Paycom, ADP, or Vista.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll experience processing multi-state U.S. payroll, including California and Puerto Rico requirements.
• Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for all employees with accurate wages, deductions, and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Review timecards and attendance records for data accuracy prior to payroll submission.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, W-2s, and year-end filings.
• Administer employee benefits and respond to payroll inquiries professionally.
