PDS Tech Commercial in Columbus, OH is seeking a Payroll Processing Associate to support client systems by processing manual check requests and ensuring employees are paid accurately. The role may require working some weekends and holidays, with hours 8am–5pm on Monday through Friday.

You will handle payroll data, maintain confidentiality in a team environment, and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts. Prior payroll experience is preferred but not required.

Location: Columbus, OH | Pay Rate: $14.85 - $18.80/hour | Schedule: 1st shift Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm

Are you a hard-working, energetic, team player? Join the PDS Tech Commercial team where your hard work delivers success! Payroll Processing Associate to work with client systems, such as processing manual check requests and communicate with internal and external contacts to ensure employees are paid correctly. This position requires working some weekends and holidays. Hours of work are likely to change depending on the needs of the business.

Job Duties

• Training on the Client systems will be provided. Time and LaborOther Internal web-based applications/platforms.
• Candidate must be able to work with payroll data and maintain confidentiality while working in a team environment.
• Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Candidate must have a strong analytical skill to comprehend statements written by different management employees regarding payroll issues.
• Proficiency with use of 10-key calculator skills and using the keyboard which increases typing words per minute with minimal errors.
• This position requires working some weekends and holidays, notice will be provided to worker in advance.
• Scheduled hours may vary based on business needs and subject to working overtime.
• High energy, aptitude for learning, great dependability and a positive attitude are key desired attributes.
• Will be working non-union and union wage plans; but training will be provided.

Additional Duties

• Must be able to work with payroll data - good math skills, but does not require payroll experience
• Maintain confidentiality while working in a team environment.
• Position will involve auditing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic Level Required - MS Office Excel and Access (primarily data entry)
• Payroll experience preferred but not required
• Candidate must be flexible to work outside the scheduled shift; as needed
• Must have good typing speed (40+ wpm) and 10 key calculator skills.
• Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, urgent environment

Pay Details: $14.85 to $18.80 per hour
