iHeartMedia in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Payroll Operations & Payroll Tax Specialist to join our payroll team. This role balances payroll operations and payroll tax, supporting processing, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient with Excel and payroll systems, and able to manage multi-state workflows in a fast-paced corporate environment. CPP not required but a plus; Workday experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of payroll processing principles and payroll tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and FEIN environments.
• CPP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing activities.
• Review payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Process adjustments, corrections, and off-cycle payroll requests.
• Assist with payroll inquiries from employees and internal partners.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts.
