Job summary

University of Washington’s FPB team seeks a Payroll Operations and Communications Specialist to manage payroll knowledge resources, documentation, and materials across the university. This role ensures information accuracy and accessibility to support payroll services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of progressively responsible experience in program operations, business operations, communications, knowledge management, or related field.
• Experience developing, managing, and maintaining operational documentation, knowledge resources, and communications materials.
• Knowledge of business process documentation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing and maintaining web-based content, CMS, or collaboration platforms.
• Ability to analyze processes, evaluate stakeholder needs, and recommend solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to translate complex information into user-friendly resources.
• Experience coordinating projects with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience collaborating with diverse groups and leading with an inclusive service-oriented approach.
