Job summary

BambooHR in Utah is seeking a Payroll Onboarding Intake Coordinator (Temporary) to be the first client-facing touchpoint for Payroll Onboarding. You will collect data, guide document submissions, and coach clients to meet the 7-business-day intake SLA for first pay eligibility.

This hybrid role focuses on readiness and momentum rather than tax setup or deep payroll consulting, using AI to enhance communications and handoff quality.

Qualifications

• Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to build trust and meet timelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for validating documents.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including screen-share guidance.
• Experience managing multiple clients under tight deadlines.
• Comfort navigating multiple software tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide onboarding data/document collection and ensure 7‑business‑day intake SLA met.
• Collect and validate required documents (e.g., 8821, ACH, etc.).
• Communicate gaps and due dates to clients to keep on track.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve communications and handoffs while checking requirements.
• Coordinate with downstream onboarding teams to ensure readiness.
