Job summary

Charge EPC is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations in a heavy civil/utilities construction setting with union and certified payroll experience. You will oversee the payroll team, ensure accuracy, and drive process improvements while aligning with company objectives.

The role requires strategic partnership with senior leadership, strong compliance knowledge, and the ability to manage complex multi-state payroll with in-house administration.

Qualifications

• Experience running payroll operations in a multi-state construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of prevailing wage, union payroll, and certified payroll requirements.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop payroll staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees payroll processing procedures to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll transactions including salaries, prevailing wages, benefits, garnishments, taxes.
