Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll management experience in a multi-location environment.
• Proficiency with Paylocity payroll systems.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds dealership management software.
• Solid understanding of payroll tax laws and reporting requirements.
• High level of accuracy, organization and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees.
• Maintain and optimize payroll workflows within Paylocity.
• Coordinate payroll-related data and reporting through Reynolds & Reynolds.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports.
• Audit payroll records regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with HR and accounting to support compensation changes, benefits, and reporting needs.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity.

Position Overview

The Payroll Manager will oversee all payroll functions for a multi-location automotive business. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex payroll processes in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Paylocity, Reynolds & Reynolds, and payroll tax compliance is essential.
