Job summary

Cisfor CFS is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead a growing payroll function within a transforming organization in Milwaukee. You will steer a team, ensure multi-state and cross-border compliance, and drive accuracy and controls across 27 U.S. entities.

The role offers a hybrid work environment, exposure to Dayforce optimization, and collaboration with senior leaders to shape best practices and training strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Payroll leadership experience with direct team management.
• Strong multi-state and Canadian payroll compliance knowledge.
• CPP certification preferred; willingness to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll team and drive accountability and performance.
• Oversee payroll compliance across multiple states and legal entities.
• Maintain payroll audit controls and support quarterly audits.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and new procedures.
• Partner with HR and operations to improve training and payroll accuracy.
• Support ongoing optimization and adoption of Dayforce across the organization.
