Job summary

Frederick Fox (Los Angeles) is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead multi-state payroll for a Los Angeles-based entertainment company. You will report to the CFO, supervise two payroll specialists, and oversee ADP WorkForce Now processing for 700 non-exempt part-time employees and 25 exempt salaried staff, with global payroll support.

The role requires 7 years of progressive payroll experience, 4 years supervising direct reports, and experience with ADP WorkForce Now.

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive payroll experience, incl. 4 years supervising direct reports.
• Experience with ADP WorkForce Now is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on multi-state payroll processing for 700 non-exempt part-time employees and 25 exempt salaried employees.
• Support global payroll for an additional 1,200 employees.
• Reconcile and validate payroll data prior to ADP transmission.
• Prepare and review payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual reports.
• Audit employee salaries, deductions, and taxes.

$125,000 - $140,000 + 10% bonus
