• Manages updates for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
• Prepares and maintains accurate payroll records and reports.
• Performs final reviews of New Hire, Status Change, and Termination files for payroll controls.
• Tracks employee leave related to payroll.
• Processes stock vesting and grants related to payroll.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Facilitates audits by providing records to auditors.
• Other duties may be assigned.

CCI has a Payroll Manager position available in its Charlotte, NC office. This position has visibility and interaction with senior management and offers career advancement.

Position Responsibilities

• Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Performs final review on all New Hire, Status Change and Termination files as part of our Payroll controls.
• Track employee leave as relates to payroll.
• Processes stock vesting and grants as they relate to payroll.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors, both internal and external.
• Other duties may be assigned at company's discretion.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
• 3-5 years of related experience required.
