Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts is a fast-growing platform of independently-run performing arts schools and businesses in the United States. We seek a payroll leader to manage end-to-end payroll and supervise the payroll team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will drive weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly cycles, coaching coordinators and maintaining strong wage-and-hour compliance across states. We offer a people-first culture with flexibility and a focus on shared purpose.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing payroll processing from end to end.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA and wage-and-hour rules.
• Ability to coach and develop a payroll team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly cycles.
• Supervise and develop payroll coordinators, setting priorities and reviewing accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage-and-hour requirements.
