Job summary

Coral Reef Partners in Hershey, PA is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee weekly payroll operations for its solar and construction projects. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage reporting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, project‑based environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience, including independently managing payroll operations.
• Required experience with Davis‑Bacon, prevailing wage compliance, and certified payroll reporting.
• Strong knowledge of wage determinations, labor classifications, overtime requirements, and fringe benefit calculations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process weekly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Review employee time records, approvals, wage calculations, overtime, travel time, per diem, bonuses, and other earnings.
• Administer federal Davis‑Bacon and state prevailing wage payroll requirements for applicable construction projects.
• Review wage determinations, labor classifications, overtime calculations, and fringe benefit requirements.
• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports in accordance with federal, state, and project‑specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation to support regulatory compliance and audits.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and process necessary corrections or adjustments.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on new hires, terminations, pay changes, direct deposits, tax withholding, and benefit deductions.
• Administer garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other payroll deductions.
• Coordinate with payroll providers on payroll tax filings, payments, and year‑end reporting, including W‑2 processing.
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve pay‑related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Partner with Accounting, HR, and Operations to improve payroll accuracy, processes, and overall efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, company policies, and payroll regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
