Job summary

Vantage CFO in Atlanta seeks an experienced Payroll Lead to own end-to-end weekly payroll across multiple entities and states. This role will consolidate four weekly payrolls into a single platform, guiding evaluation, conversion, testing, and stabilization.

The ideal candidate has hands-on multi-entity payroll experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to own complex processes while collaborating with Accounting, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure accurate, compliant pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive, hands-on payroll experience.
• Experience owning multi-entity payroll and multi-state processing.
• Experience with payroll system conversions or consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll rules and taxes.
• Proven ability to implement standardized, scalable payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end weekly payroll across multiple entities and states.
• Review inputs, validate data, and ensure on-time payroll processing.
• Oversee payroll controls, approvals, reconciliation, and audits.
• Ensure accurate earnings, deductions, bonuses, and driver pay.
• Lead payroll tax compliance and year-end activities (W-2s).
• Develop standardized procedures, calendars, and reporting.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, HR, and Operations for reporting.
