Job summary

Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, seeks a Payroll Specialist to ensure timely and accurate weekly/biweekly payroll. You will maintain employee files, process changes, answer questions, and support HRIS modules while handling high-pressure situations across a large, nationwide workforce.

Preferred candidates have 2–4 years of payroll experience with prevailing wage knowledge, union payroll exposure, and experience with ADP Time & Attendance and Workforce Now.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience—2–4 years with prevailing wage knowledge.
• Union payroll experience.
• Large-scope payroll experience (1000+ employees).
• ADP Time & Attendance and Workforce Now platforms experience.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• HR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee database.
• Process weekly payroll.
• Prepare payroll reports.
• Answer employee questions.
• Manage garnishments, 401k, flex and other payables.
• Handle misc. filing projects.
• Support HRIS module maintenance.
• Perform admin and clerical duties.
• Handle high-pressure situations.
• Complete certified payroll forms.
• Review prevailing wage rates and fringe metrics per project.
• Reconcile prevailing wage data with ADP outputs.
