Job summary

Duncan-Parnell, Inc. is seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant multi-state payroll processing across the portfolio of companies.

This role focuses on biweekly and monthly payroll cycles in Paylocity, ensuring data integrity, proper tax withholding, and HRIS integration. You will collaborate with HR, Accounting, and department leaders to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Experience administering Paylocity or similar payroll/HRIS platform.
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws and federal/state tax withholding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll for all employees using Paylocity.
• Validate timekeeping data, new hires, terminations, and status changes prior to payroll run.
• Calculate off-cycle payments, retroactive pay, bonuses, commissions, and final paychecks.
• Reconcile payroll registers and general ledger postings.
• Serve as primary contact for employee payroll inquiries.
