Job summary

Medical Consulting Group (MCG) is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist & HR Administrator to join our team in Springfield, MO. This role provides primary payroll support using Paycom and backs up the Payroll Administrator while collaborating with client organizations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in payroll, multi-entity processing, and HR tasks including onboarding and benefits, with strong Excel skills and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience processing payroll for multiple entities or client groups.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing for multiple companies and client organizations using Paycom.
• Serve as the primary backup to the Payroll Administrator.
• Review and audit payroll data, time records, deductions, garnishments, and employee changes for accuracy.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries.
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits, compliance requirements, and year-end activities.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding and recruiting activities.
• Support benefits administration, annual benefits renewals, open enrollment, and leave administration.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Assist with special HR projects and other HR-related responsibilities as needed.
