Job summary

Bellmore Home Center Inc is seeking a Payroll & HR Manager to oversee the accurate weekly and bi-weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees and manage HRIS, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance across allied systems.

The role partners with management to recruit, post jobs, screen candidates, maintain electronic personnel records, and deliver reports to HR leadership while ensuring policy consistency and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three years in HR, payroll, HRIS, recruiting or related retail experience preferred.
• Payroll processing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Paycom or a comparable HRIS/payroll system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and process accurate weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for 1,000+ employees.
• Audit payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in electronic systems.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support HR reporting and compliance across states.
• Assist with recruiting and applicant tracking.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance and employee relations support.
• Partner with management to ensure policy consistency and data integrity.
