Wilson Tool Canada is seeking a Payroll/HR Generalist to support payroll and HR operations in White Bear Lake, MN. You will process payroll for 500+ employees and handle benefits, onboarding, and HR communications within a collaborative HR team.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and staying current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations while partnering with managers and Finance to resolve questions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably with ADP WorkforceNow.
• 2+ years of HR Generalist experience with a broad understanding of HR practices.
• Experience supporting payroll for 500+ employees is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll compliance.
• Understanding of employment regulations including FLSA, ADA, ADEA, and EEOC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate weekly and biweekly payrolls for 500+ employees.
• Administer payroll using ADP WorkforceNow or an equivalent payroll system.
• Maintain employee payroll records and process status changes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, leaves, and terminations.
• Ensure payroll taxes, deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related items are accurately processed.
• Research and resolve payroll questions and discrepancies.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
• Partner with employees, managers, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related questions.
