Job summary

L & JG STICKLEY, INC. in Manlius, NY is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator to manage payroll for nearly 500 employees and provide essential HR support.

The role blends payroll accuracy with people-focused HR tasks, approximately three days on payroll and two days on HR. You will help ensure timely, accurate pay and support onboarding, recruiting, and HR processes across manufacturing, retail, and business operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll, human resources, accounting, or administrative support.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when handling employee pay and confidential information.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize responsibilities, and follow through on details.

Responsibilities

• Process and review weekly payroll for nearly 500 employees using UKG Pro.
• Audit timekeeping and attendance records and resolve discrepancies.
• Process pay changes, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll transactions.
• Support payroll tax processing and W-2 preparation.
• Maintain payroll records and support compliance with requirements.
• Provide HR support including onboarding, recruiting activities, and HR documentation.
